It doesn't have to be long, but you're going to have to choose it.
Turn off that phone/tv/computer (pick one, pick them all if they are all on),
say no to noise,
say no to busywork,
say no to the internet,
say no to whatever it is that tells you you don't have time to take a deep breath and listen.
For those few, precious minutes say yes to more of God, and no to everything else.
(Here's guessing you'll find this compellingly habit forming.)
